Actresses Chhon Sina, Kauv Sotheary and Pok Sovanna were children in 1975 when the Khmer Rouge herded thousands of people out of Phnom Penh .
Now the three women, in their forties, have turned their childhood
memories of that era into a play, recounting their experiences in the 3
years, 8 months, 20 days of the brutal Pol Pot regime.
An
epic tale intimately spoken by the actresses and adapted to the theatre
by the stage director. It also incorporated Cambodian songs, poetry and
live video images into the production.
